Welcome to 6 Shoe Quarter Horses
At 6 Shoe Quarter Horses we raise Blue Valentine bred quarter horses and usually have a few colts for sale in the fall. We chose the Blue Valentine bloodline because of their friendly personality, natural cow instinct and big strong bone structure. Mr Lil Blue Tom (known as LT) is our stallion that we bred to our mares and also offer shipped cool semen or on-site AI through the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University.
LT is genetically E/E Rn/Rn a/a (homozygous black and homozygous roan) and 6 panel negative. He completed and placed in several Craig Cameron Extreme Cowboy races competitions with his trainer Tim Edge. Tim was a cowboy with an incredible talent and skill in training horses until a freak accident took his life. Tim had successfully started LT in team roping (heeling) but after the accident we didn’t pursue a roping career for LT.
